On Friday afternoon, some hikers sighted the motionless body of a person on the rocks in the vicinity of the Cala Portitxol, specifically in the area known as 'Els Pallers'. They quickly gave the notice to the Emergencies and the Local Police of Xàbia and Firefighters came, who were the ones who rescued the body.
According to police sources, "once the body was rescued with the help of the Firefighters helicopter, it has been transferred with the Local Police boat to the Port of Xàbia" waiting for the judge on duty.
Although the causes of death of the man in his 60s are unknown, everything indicates that he may have accidentally fallen from the cliff.
