On Sunday morning, in the park of Pinosol, a great athletic morning was lived with the dispute of “Xàbia School Cross”. A test that, organized by the Athletics School of the Llebeig Xàbia Club, was attended by the majority of athletic clubs in the Marina Alta region.
In addition to the wide representation of the local club attended by athletes from CA Baleària Diànium, Ondara, Pedreguer, Pego or others.
The different tests that were carried out were marked by the wide participation, although the weather conditions, although there was no rain, were not the most optimal. There was a strong wind accompanied by a rather low temperature that made the large audience that came to witness the events warm.
With a great atmosphere, the athletic morning began, with the lower categories, in which for many it was their first test. The mood of the little ones infected an audience that did not stop encouraging them until they crossed the finish line.
One after another each of the tests were carried out, increasing the distances to be traveled with each category. Perfectly organized by the members of the Llebeig Xàbia Club, there was a morning where the athletics party was lived very intensely by each of the participants.
It should be noted that together with the organizers in the delivery of medals for the best, the mayor of sports was present, Alberto Tur, which with his presence made clear the support that the council gives to a club that moves more and more people.
Popular athletics are in fashion and the Llebeig Xàbia Club can boast being one of the most members.
