The one who lived yesterday in the Placeta del Convent de Xàbia was almost completely full. After two years without festive events and more specifically, without bous al carrer, the people of the locality and nearby towns showed the desire they had for it. The first bullfighting day in Xàbia had a great atmosphere from the early afternoon.
Both in the cadafales and in the bullring itself, bullfighting fans enjoyed the traditional bullfighting acts and the reunion with friends and the party atmosphere.
As for the protagonists of the afternoon, the bulls and the cows, came out with enthusiasm and strength to the ring animating the day along with the games that the most daring made to the cattle.
The two sessions of the first day of this traditional and typical party passed normally and without incident. The festivities in honor of Jesús Nazareno continue in Xàbia and for today it is planned, if the weather allows it, another bullfighting evening.
Reine Tierquälerei. Wie soll man Spass haben bei dieser Tierquälerei? Wir kann man in der heutigen Zeit noch immer an so einer beschämenden Tradition Freude haben? Warum setzt sich keiner dafür ein dass solche „ Traditionen „ abgeschafft werden? Einfach nur peinlich und verantwortungslos gegenüber jedem Tier. All these are sollten sich schämen….
