CD Montgó Xàbia gymnasts get first places in the Autonomous Championship

This past weekend, the Regional Artistic Gymnastics Championships and the Regional Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships were held in Valencia, both in the male and female categories.

The comxicotetion took place at the Poliesportiu Cabanyal. On the day of Saturday, May 21, the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championship, in which the girls of the CD Montgó Xàbia obtaining fantastic results.

Base 1: Lilly Amat was 3rd on the floor.

Base 2: Paula and María got the title of regional champions. Paula obtained the 2nd place in parallel bars, 1st in bar and 2nd in floor. María, 1st in parallel bars and 2nd in jump.

Base 3: Valeria, Resa and Ruby participated, the latter being the one who obtained the regional title with 3rd place in bar and 3rd in parallel bars.

Base 4: Liliana, Lola and Estrella competed. Liliana was 3rd in jump, Lola 1st in parallel obtaining the 3rd regional position. Estrella was 2nd in jump 2, so she won the regional runner-up medal.

En Olympic Way, Laia was 3rd in jump and 2nd in floor.

As to Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championship and the Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship which took place on Sunday, May 22, the CD Montgó Xàbia gymnasts also achieved magnificent results, this being the classification:

Base 2: Joan Buigues, 3rd in parallel bars, 3rd in rings, 3rd in mushroom, 1st in vault, 1st on ground, 2nd overall. Felix Gil was 1st in mushroom. Jordi Mata obtained 1st place on rings, 1st on bar and 3rd overall.

Base 3: David Huerta was 2nd in mushroom, 1st in pole and 2nd overall.

Base 4: Joan Rojas; 1st in rings, 2nd in parallel bars, vault and horse, 3rd in floor and bar and 2nd in the general.

Base 6: Levi Planelles, 1st on floor and 1st overall.

Olympic Way 2: Eloy Jong was 1st on floor, 1st on bar and 2nd on vault. Hugo Martin: 2nd in Pommel, 2nd in Parallels, 3rd in Bar and Rings and 3rd overall. Javi Soler was 1st in Pommel Horse, 2nd in Bar and Rings, 3rd in Vault, Parallel Bars and Floor, and ranks 2nd overall.

Olympic Way 7: Adrian Larrosa wins gold in rings, silver in ground, colt, parallel bars, bar and vault and ranks second overall.
