El Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, has received, on the morning of this Saturday, the visit of the Minister of Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque, the sub-delegate of the Government in Alicante, Araceli Poblador and the vice president of the Valencian government, Rubén Martínez Dalmau, who wanted to know, first hand, the damage that Xàbia has suffered due to the storm.
Duque and Poblador, together with Chulvi, have approached the xabiero coast and will transfer all the information to the Council of Ministers so that recovery aids can be articulated.
From the Generalitat, Martínez Dalmau, has verified the effects of the storm and the result of the first cleaning and recovery work carried out by the Town hall since the first day.
As explained by the mayor, both representatives have confirmed that the regional and state administrations are preparing aid decrees to which the Consistory will be attentive to qualify. Chulvi thanked the two governments for their concern and interest in the situation that Xàbia is going through.
