Gala Soles Repsol: these are the two recipes that Sonia Box from La Perla de Jávea will prepare

One of the most anticipated gastronomic galas of the year along with the Michelin Stars is the Repsol Suns. An award that recognizes the effort and good work of restaurants and chefs in Spain and Portugal, making them one of the best.

The 2023 Soles Delivery Gala will take place this coming Monday, February 27, in Alicante. And as it could not be less, as in any Gala, and more in this gastronomy, there will be a tasting menu that will be prepared by 11 chefs. 11 female chefs from the Valencian Community who have received the Sol Repsol award, including the restaurant's cook La Perla de Jávea, Sonia Box.

Box is clear about the two dishes to be prepared in which the product of the Terreta will be the protagonist in each of them.

On the one hand, and as a tribute to her father "who liked country recipes", Sonia will make some semi-roasted tomatoes with Jumilla olive cream, chives and semi-cured bonito.

The other Sonia Box dish that diners will taste, and that will follow the tradition of Valencian products, will be the dessert. A lemon sponge cake, with lemon curd, meringue and cinnamon streusel will be the one that will delight the palates of cooking lovers.

Let's hope that with these two xabieros bites good news is celebrated in this Restaurant of the Arenal Beach. Currently, La Perla de Jávea has 1 Repsol Sun, awarded in 2016 and which it has maintained year after year and a recommendation in the Michelin Guide.
