Xàbia organizes the 'I Fòrum Jove' and alternative leisure days

Youth Councilor, Montse Villaverde, Along the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, have presented the Fòrum Jove and the Alternative Leisure Days organized by the Youth Department for this month of January. For three consecutive days, both the Espai Jove Plus and the Portal del Clot Multipurpose Room will become the center of this extensive program of activities.

The councilor explained that under the motto "Your voice matters", this call aims to promote a meeting between the young people of the municipality in which they reflect on their daily needs. The first day will take place on Friday, January 27, from 12:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room. In this first session there will be talks, a tournament and an Arcade area, a playroom and board games, among other activities.

On Saturday, January 28, at l'Espai Joves Plus, located in Ca Lambert, The I Youth Forum which aims to create a space for the exchange of ideas, opinions and reflections on issues that are of interest to the young population. Pre-registration is required for this activity as capacity is limited.

Those interested in attending can register by scanning the QR that appears on the poster and filling out the form. The Forum will be divided into three sessions: the first will talk about 'Joves i oci' and it will be at 9:00 am. The second session will deal with 'Joves i Salut', which will begin at 11:30 am and the third, which will begin at 16:30 pm, will address the topic of 'Joves i emancipació'.

Alternative leisure days

In addition to this activity, which is intended to "listen to young people to find out their needs, proposals and be able to promote them", as indicated by the mayor, there will also be other alternative leisure activities such as Cosplay, Gaming, talks, digital illustration, etc. These workshops are aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 30, although there will be activities open to children aged 8, 10 and 12.

Villaverde recalled that the municipality is immersed in the elaboration of a Pla Jove, so this forum is an unbeatable opportunity to provide proposals "that guide us as an Administration to promote measures that help them define and build their vital project in equal opportunities ”.
