El Javea Town Hall In the last quarter, it has invested a total of 300.000 euros in public works in the Arenal neighborhood with various improvement actions. The interventions, included within small urban planning, have meant an improvement in the image of public spaces and make their use more comfortable and safe for citizens.
Among the improvements made is that of Paris Avenue, with the reform of sidewalks, pavement improvement, change of screeners, road paint and replacement of trees. In this intervention the Consistory has invested almost 97.000 euros in it.
Another improvement has been carried out on Avenida del Arenal, with new sidewalks and a rearrangement of car parks. This project has been executed by Mayte Excavations with a budget of 53.300 euros.
Both works have already been completed, while the reform of the sidewalks of a section of Avenida del Plà, in front of Jávea Park, which Pavasal is carrying out, is still underway. This work, estimated at 150.000 euros, includes replacing trees, changing sidewalks and installing new water, electricity and gas equipment.
It is planned, as indicated by municipal sources, that improvements in public lighting in this area will be promoted shortly.
