07 December 2020 - 16: 43

The Generalitat Valenciana allows, as of next Thursday, December 10, public access to the matches and training sessions of federated teams after the request, a few weeks ago, from the Valencian Community Football Federation.

This new measure, which is a relief in the sports sector, was announced by the Minister for Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló during the weekend.

Access is marked by the limitation of 30% of the capacity of the venue, with a maximum of 150 people who can remain on the field of all federated non-professional football. This measure will be valid, for the moment, until January 15.

The president of the FFCV, Salva Gomar, met with the councilor to convey the position of all the football of the Valencian Community and the safe measures that were to be carried out with the permissiveness of public access to the sports venue.

Gomar has added that "We have managed to get the Generalitat to rethink the ban. It still falls a bit short, but it is an important first step".

It must be remembered that many family members, by prohibiting access, crowded the fences or gates of the field to be able to their children or the game itself, stairs to be installed to overcome the limitation of the wall of the facilities.

The clubs, on the other hand, have claimed during these weeks, the study of this restriction and the possibility of giving permission.
