The Latin Photography Festival in the Mediterranean RED EYES will host from September 18 to October 24, the photographic collection "Red October" by the photographer Eunice Adorno in the Exhibition Hall Ca Lambert.
Eunice Adorno is a photographer who lives and works in Mexico City. Her work has been interested in documenting different communities in Mexico that, in their ways of living and representing themselves, have a stubborn relationship with the past.
Red October (in process), has become over time, an archive, where he gathers an investigation with interviews, phrases, drawings, photographs and videos that he documents in the student house 'Red October', a house-residence for university students in Mazatlán Sinaloa, founded after the student movement of the eighties.
The research presents and constructs a discursive axis through a series of images that, triggering a reflection on the impact of structural violence on the current reality of the students who live there.
