The mayor of the Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Josep Femenia, has asked the opposition for a public rectification after confirming the Consell that the municipality itself is a beneficiary of a subsidy of 49.716,48 euros.
In the last plenary session of the year, the municipe made public the documentation recently published in the DOGV that corroborated that since the town hall All the necessary documentation had been submitted in due time and form to obtain aid "that the opposition had recriminated as having been lost due to neglect" through a public mailbox.
It has been confirmed that the accusations contained in those letters were false and that is why Femenía now asks the opposition to retract.
The City Council requested the revision of the Decree, since the municipality was not included, and after the review of the files, it was found that the consistory had submitted the request for the aid in a timely manner.
On the part of the Evaluation Technical Commission of the valuations of the damages produced by the forest fires, it was agreed the 9 of June of 2017, among other questions, that was included to the Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell in the list of municipalities to the that the aid approved by Decree 52 / 2017 is intended.
Femenía noted that, "if we have obtained the subsidy it has not been worth in any case of Compromís, but of the technician who made the work and of the councilor Toni Colomer who was very pending of the processing of the subsidy and transferred the documentation to parliamentary seat when he was still councilor of the PP".
