Two months ago, the company that awarded the works of the Auditori de Xàbia, Proyecon Galicia, started the construction work, beginning the adaptation of the land. At present, the operators are with the mesh and concrete at the base of the future infrastructure.
The councilman of Culture, Quico Moragues, has pointed to Xàbia.com, that the works are going at a good pace, "We are happy and satisfied with the evolution of the works". Moragues has stated that, on a weekly basis, the construction management team and the urban planning team meet to learn about the actions carried out and perform certification.
The mayor has stressed that since the work with this new company resumed, "Every day they have been working, complying with what was agreed and they also have local companies to carry out some actions. We are proud that, finally, this necessary infrastructure for the town is a reality by the end of 2020."
It should be remembered that the deadline for the execution of the work is 14 months, so if everything runs in time, for October-November of 2020, the Auditori will be a reality. The final budget for which the construction was tendered was 2.640.000 euros.
