November 28 from 2023 - 21: 42

Xàbia continues to be present in the Michelin Guide. Two of the restaurants maintain their Star awards in the world of gastronomy. The Gala took place, this Tuesday night, in the Auditori Fòrum of the Barcelona International Convention Center.

The Gala has announced the names of the 31 restaurants that have achieved their first Michelin star, among which are two from the Marina Alta, Orobianco and Casa Bernardi. Among the 14 restaurants with three Michelin Stars, the Quique Dacosta Restaurant in Dénia has been named.

Xàbia was not present at the presentation of the new awards, but the town continues to be at the forefront of gastronomy with Bon Amb Restaurante by chef Alberto Ferruz, which maintains its two Michelin Stars, and Tula Restaurante by Borja Susilla and Clara, which continues with one Michelin Star. .

To these restaurants with distinctive marks we must add those that have a recommendation from the Guide, where three more are included in the list: La Perla de Jávea, Volta & Volta and Tosca.

  1. Tablecloth for everyone says:

We must know that, in addition to those awarded by a tire company, there are hundreds of restaurants, if not thousands, that equal or surpass in most cases those who have been awarded.

On the other hand, it should be noted that it is precisely in the Non-Restaurants (Bars, Beach Bars, Inns and Hotels) where it is like a fairy tale, since in Spain the product is what is important, not so much the beauty with which the food is presented.

You are warned of the abundant culinary offering, which cannot be eclipsed by the fireworks that demand so much attention.

Greetings to all the chefs who ensure good work, without medals or caroms...
