Some entrepreneurs of German origin and settled in Xàbia, owners of the company, Crevalor Jávea, propose to the Department of Youth, a new employment project for unemployed youth.
In the meeting with the councilor, Tere Bisquert and the person in charge of Youth, Ximo Segarra, the promoters of this idea have explained that it is a project aimed at young people, from 16 to 25 years, in unemployment situation who want to improve their professional training in Germany.
As indicated by one of the entrepreneurs, Joost Janssens, young people can work both in the field of construction (masonry, interior design, painters), the automobile, the food industry, computer science or tourism and hospitality industry .
Characteristics of the scholarship
For young people interested, the company that promotes this project offers support to travel to the Baden-Württemberg area (Germany) and accommodation for a week, in addition to the support of a network of collaborators, including the former minister of affairs of the region, Hermann Schaufler, to meet companies that offer apprenticeship contracts and make contacts that allow them to stay to do internships. Later, according to the promoter, the idea is that young people return to Xàbia to work with better skills after their training.
Janssens has advanced that at the moment four scholarships are offered, which will be available starting this fall. From Youth will help in the dissemination of this project among the youth of Xàbia and the councilor Tere Bisquert, who has her office in the facilities of Creama (Avenida Amanecer number 2) will also mediate between applicants and employers.
