This Sunday, the VII Trixàbia, II Memorial Eduardo Monfort, proves that it will have the participation of 650 athletes distributed in the modalities Olympic y Sprint. The most important novelty is the change of route in the cycling segment.

This year's edition has a budget of 25.000 euros and Bover took advantage of the fact that the mayor was present to ask for more financial aid from the City Council. He stressed that it is a non-profit test and will be a tribute to Eduardo and José.
The former president of the club, Jaime Escortell, commented that "the Traffic Department had not authorized the cycling test for the Camí Cabanes and thanked the local police who could change the bicycle circuit. This year it will run along the Plà road, between the McDonals roundabout and the MasyMas roundabout, passing by the Arenal school. In total it is a circuit of 6 kilometers.
Finally, the mayor, José Chulvi, Commented that "It is a pleasure to present any sporting event. The Trixàbia is a positive event that is done at the end of the summer, sustainable since it opts for quality rather than quantity. It has a great organization and the volume of requests speak well of the test".
Chulvi pointed out that "One thing that has is that nobody can compete with us for the environment we are in, as the participants enjoy suffering".
Traffic cuts and solidarity event
The tests, which will start at 8 in the morning, require traffic closures and therefore, the Plà road and the first Montañar They will remain closed until 14:XNUMX p.m. Residents of the urbanizations in the south of Xàbia are recommended to use the Camí Cabanes for their journeys.
Parallel to the Trixàbia, there is a solidarity event. The boutique SynCrolab has organized a solidarity act with 11 static bicycles in which they hope to accumulate 1.000 minutes pedaling for all the participants who wish it. If they get the challenge they will donate 1.000 euros to the Valencian Cycling Federation to support the para-cyclists.
