The long-awaited Xàbia sports event started off on the wrong foot. The bad weather conditions forced the TriXàbia to be converted into a Duathlon event. Swimming was left aside and cycling and running events were increased. The athletes showed that they were willing to do anything and not even the rain prevented them from getting ahead.
The new Trixàbia of 2022 (due to bad weather) consisted for the Olympic: 3 laps of the race on foot (2 first (10km)), then 40 km of bike (6 laps of the circuit) and third lap on foot of 5km .
