On Thursday night, the inauguration took place at the SeeMontgó of the fourth edition of the Oktoberfest in Xàbia. On this occasion, the villa's Paralympic sailor, Rafa Andarias, was in charge of breaking the first barrel and thus opening the doors of the beer festival that will last 10 days.
The act had the councilors of Javea Town Hall, Kika Mata and Isabel Bolufer. The manager of See Montgó, Arturo Rey, commented that in this edition they have opted to extend the Oktoberfest for 10 days, "betting on the rock groups in the area with live music and with the performance of the group The Inhumans, which will be next Sunday at 18 hours, and for which tickets have already been sold."
Rey said he believes they will consume between 140 and 150 barrels of 50 liters of German beer during the days of celebration. Next to the drink will also serve typical German food such as sausages, knuckle, ribs, chugrut and chicken skewers.
The Oktoberfest will be held every day from 12 from noon to midnight. The local groups that will perform are La Mocha, Black Glitter, X Band, Lolipop and the local DJs Paquitus and Toni Bup.
