The yachtsman from Club Náutico Jávea, José Luis Boronat, has achieved fourth position in the IQFoil Cup of Spain, which was held this weekend in the Bay of Cádiz.
Boronat was preparing the test in some training sessions with the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation in Lanzarote, to later move to Puerto Sherry, which was the base port. In the end only three days of regattas could be disputed, and it was in the first when the sailor from the Club Náutico Jávea got his best
results, with a first and a third place. On the second day, Boronat was among the top 10 and on the last day he was sixth, while on the third day he resumed the good feeling with one sleeve first and another third.
After the Spanish Cup, Boronat was upset for not having been higher in the classification, although he recognized that this had been due to some mistakes. "Now all that remains is to continue training and polish those mistakes so as not to make them again," stressed the sailor.
The Jávea Yacht Club sailor continues with his preparation for the Spanish Olympic team qualifiers, "an objective that I maintain and that I want to achieve," he acknowledged. Boronat has the support of the Club Náutico Jávea, Somvela, sportlink, ocean Republik, brunotti and 3dxabia.
