El Club Náutico Jávea welcomed the Regional Championship by Optimist Teams, within the framework of the 45 Sailing Week. A test that brought together 6 clubs in the Region, including ours, Real Club Nautico Valencia, Real Club Náutico Calpe, Club Náutico Alicante Costa Blanca, Club Náutico Santa Pola, Real Club Náutico Torrevieja and the host, Club Náutico Jávea.
After the two days in which it was possible to complete 3 Round Robin (series of matches) reached the last day RCN Valencia, RCN Torrevieja, CN Santa Pola and RCN Calpe to the semifinals, with a very strong Valencian team to conclude first, after the sum of points in the three rounds robin, while Torrevieja was second and Santa Pola third.
The results in the semifinals left an exciting final between RCN Valencia and RCN Torrevieja, while the fight for the third and fourth place was going to have as protagonists CN Santa Pola and RCN Calpe.
In both duels, the best of three, there was going to be a common denominator. Torrevieja, in the final, with a clear 2-0 to Valencia and in the other 'duel' Santa Pola left without options to Calpe, also with an 2-0.
Final classification
The general classification was closed with a podium formed by RCN Torrevieja, followed by RCN Valencia and Santa Pola NPP.
Alejandro Liniers, Treasurer, and Marta Camps, Vocal of Social Activities of the CN Jávea, were present at the closure of the Autonomic, in addition to the presence of Javier Clemente, Delegate AECIO of the Valencian Community and Carlos Torrada, representing the Federation of Candle of the Comunitat Valenciana.
