Socialist groups of the Marina Alta met this week in Dénia to establish the lines to follow in the face of the regional and municipal elections of 2019. The meeting was headed by the Secretary of Organization of the PSPV-PSOE, José Muñoz, and the Secretary of Electoral Action, Toñi Serna.
Both leaders were sheltered by the Secretary of the PSPV-PSOE in the province, José Chulvi; the Marina Alta, Óscar Mengual, and the mayor of Dènia, the socialist Vicent Grimalt, as well as a large presence of organic positions throughout the region.
For José Muñoz, with this meeting is given "Start to the campaign in the Marina Alta" in a region where, in your opinion "The socialists start from an unbeatable situation". In that sense, the organization secretary of PSPV pointed out that "We are living a PSOE moment, a PSPV moment, and also an important moment for the Marina Alta and its municipalities".
In this sense, and in the electoral plane, Muñoz described as necessary to make this campaign start "Forming the best possible teams to revalidate mayoralties and win new governments, and say loud and clear that we went out to win and be the first political party in the region and the Valencian Community".
For its part, the secretary of electoral action of PSPV-PSOE, Toñi Serna, insisted on the need to conform, in the face of the electoral campaign, "Powerful and diverse teams, with direct contact with citizens, and seeking the best profiles to build the candidacies".
Likewise, both the general secretary in the province of Alicante, José Chulvi, as the regional secretary, Óscar Mengual, highlighted the work that is being done both at local and regional level in the groups and from the municipal groups in order to improve the opportunities of the neighbors of the region.
