The Popular Party has again communicated, this time in writing and by registration, the errors included in the new Tourism Law, which came into force last June 7, and that causes, according to the popular, a big problem in Xàbia.
At Lóleo Eventos, talk convened by the PP last week to discuss the issue of tourist rentals, it was agreed to present measures that would solve this fact and allow the neighbors to register their homes to rent them.
The popular, presented, in writing, the measures to the government team "to act as soon as possible", they express from the PP.
Modification in the Law and in the PGOU
Among the measures proposed include the modification of the General Plan of Urban Planning, "allowing compatible use in all existing homes and those that may be built in the future for use as tourist dwellings, or also allowed tourist use within residential use", indicates the Popular Party.
On the other hand, from the PP request the legislative amendment introducing an amendment that modifies the articles of the Tourist Law that require the aforementioned municipal report on urban compatibility, in the accompanying laws of the Generalitat.
"The Valencian Government cannot allow any law to stop and block its local economy and the well-being of the neighbors, therefore, from the Popular Party of Xàbia the government of Chulvi and the regional government are asked to act in consequence of the future of Xàbia, without undermining the quality, sustainable and prosperous tourism of Xàbia. "
