The Popular Party of Xàbia made a balance of 2018 on the municipal management of the government team. The popular candidate for mayor 2019, Rosa Cardona, accompanied by the general secretary of the popular executive, Óscar Antón, and popular councilors, qualified "negative" the management of this year.
"From the PP we see the policy of Chulvi to be focused on the continuous publicity and self-promotion, leaving aside the service to our municipality, so we see a bad management and a lack of diligence, for delays and perpetual excuses"said Cardona.
The popular candidate mentioned several of the projects "promised by the PSOE, in which nothing has been done ". Among these issues, the popular one highlighted the Plan of Xàbia in Marxa, "in which we were promised 24 performances and not one has been executed."
The mayor criticized that with the aim that this 2018 was the year of Culture for Xàbia, "We have been deprived of having works that offer well-being such as the Triana bridge or some of the works and projects with delay that Xàbia has: Central Cinema, Sorolla project or remodeling of Arenal sidewalks."
In reference to the municipal budgets of 2019, Anton affected the lack of management capacity of the councilors, "During this year they have not been able to correctly manage the current ones and have extended them for 2019, so if they had made new ones, they would drag the earrings."
The popular councilors indicated that this legislature has supposed "Four years lost and being the most expensive government, with 16 delegations".
