The spokeswoman of the Popular Party of Xàbia, Rosa Cardona, has made a political balance of this 2020. An assessment that qualifies as "bad management" by the government team in reference to the major projects of the municipality.

The popular mayor has made reference to the auditorium, the Triana Bridge and the pedestrianization of the first Montañar. Cardona has indicated that "Bad decisions have been made and the most important projects have not been reviewed".
On the Triana Bridge, Cardona has clarified that the project did not contemplate eliminating the concrete bases of the old bridge, "an oblivion that will cost us 115.000 euros". Likewise, the PP spokesperson has made mention of the pedestrianization of the First Mountain, "What was a pilot test during the State of Alarm since there is no Mobility Plan, left the Arenal and Puerto areas cut off."

Regarding the motions presented in plenary session by the popular group, the spokesperson regretted that many have not gone ahead, "or they have been approved and work has not continued, as is the case with the regulation of gas stations or as is the case with the regeneration of coves that suffer landslides."
