In 2020 the Popular Party proposed to the plenary session to regenerate and recover the coves of Tangó and Ambolo, as they are emblematic coves of Xàbia and that are closed, so that they do not disappear from our history, tradition and heritage.
The proposal was approved by the entire corporation, but since then "nothing has been done and now the Department of Territorial Policy is back and instead of fulfilling what was promised, with the new works the Tangó Creek, containment and reinforcement stones will be placed in the wall and the Tangó is finished forever ", the popular say.
Regeneration of the beaches
The PP explains in its statement that "in Xàbia, when the Gorgos river had its mouth on Avenida Jaime I, with the contribution of the stones from the river, these were being deposited on the beach and kept the beaches of La Grava in good condition. and Tangó.
