The PP says that the rejection of its amendments in Les Corts shows the abandonment of the Marina Alta

January 04 from 2019 - 01: 33

The coordinator of the Popular Party of the Province of Alicante, Raúl Dalmau, has made a balance of the legislature pointing out that the regional government formed by PSOE and Compromís has shown "Discrimination against the Marina Alta. The 100% rejection of the amendments presented by the popular in Les Corts is the clear and unequivocal symptom of the abandonment and abuse of PSOE and Commitments to a region with great potential."

Dalmau indicated that "their whims are going to cost us more than 200 million". The coordinator of the PP referred to the amendments submitted to the budget of the Generalitat Valenciana and the new Tourism Law "That leaves the residential tourist rental model lifeless."

The popular ones presented 25 amendments to the accounts of the Consell, among which the construction of the new Pedreguer health center and the integral health center of Calpe were included as highlights in the 6 chapter as direct investments; the construction and works to be carried out in different educational centers of Dénia and Calpe; the construction of the channeling and diversion of the Moraira ravine, the water regulating reservoir in Beniarbeig and the splitting of the cv-734 road from Xàbia to Gata.

Dalmau remembers that "Each of these amendments is a project that has been left undone in a municipality". They include both endowments in schools and health centers and road works, among other concepts. "And to help more the economy of the region approve a law that prohibits renting housing to tourists who come to enjoy our land. A nonsense of government linked to a budget disaster in which the Marina Alta is relegated to a secondary role, allocating only the 1,8% of the investments of the whole province "said the coordinator.
