The Polish Piotr Cichocki rules in the 'Olympic Week' after the first day

The bay of Xàbia has hosted the first day of regattas of the VI edition of the Olympic Week which is based on Club Nautico de Javea. The podium of this first day is occupied by the Polish Piotr Cichocki. In second position, the French Eduard Champault, and in third position the Portuguese Joao Pinto.

The first Spanish is Sergi Roig, from the Puerto Andratx Sailing Club, in ninth position. The local sailor, Rafa Andarias, is ranked 27th.

The sailors have gone to the race course in the bay of Xàbia at 11 in the morning, at which time the wind has turned north with speeds of 6 to 10 knots, conditions that are suitable for the Hansa class 303.

At the end of the test, the sailors and their companions were able to enjoy the Village in the area of ​​the Sailing School of the Club Nautico de Javea, with drinks and soft drinks courtesy of Coca Cola and Mahou, as well as a fideuà performed by Lluis Ortolá.

La Resume Olympic Week It is organized by the Sailing Federation of the Region, the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, the Generalitat Valenciana and the nautical clubs of Valencia, Torrevieja, Alicante and Jávea and forms part of the Spanish pre-Olympic circuit promoted by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
