Reinvent yourself or die. Given the restrictions due to COVID-19 in the Valencian Community, the Department of Equality and Gender Policies, led by Víctor Bisquert, with the collaboration of the Associació de Dones, has had to adapt part of the programming around the International Day of Working Women, with a strong presence of online activities.

This year, on the central day, Monday, March 8, the traditional manifesto condemning gender inequalities will not be read. Even so, a special action has been worked on for the occasion: an emotional video-manifesto that, under the title 'Pobleres gifts. Leaders and unstoppable ', wants to value the role of women entrepreneurs in the municipality and make visible the great efforts they have to face every day. The video will be shared through social networks and the official channels of the Town hall.

From March 15 to 31, the Department of Equality and the Women's Association propose the activity 'Move for equality', which invites you to collaborate with the Aprosdeco association by buying, at a price of 3 euros, the solidarity t-shirt of the 'no-cursa 2021', going out to doing sports, photographing themselves with the shirt and posting it on social networks with the hastag #mouteperlaigualtat. The t-shirt can be purchased at tourist office (Market Street, 1). The proceeds will go entirely to Aprosdeco.
