The Poble Nou de Benitatxell soundproof the classrooms of the Music School

02 March 2021 - 08: 11

The School of Music and Dance of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has finally made its classrooms soundproof. Thus, a historical demand of the musical community is fulfilled, which has complained for years about the poor sound quality that prevented classes and rehearsals from being carried out in optimal conditions.

Last week, in a total of six classrooms, various acoustic insulation panels made of felt and wool were installed on the ceilings and walls. In one of them, the Musical Garden, the panels are brightly colored. Thus, in addition to the isolation function, they will also fulfill a decorative and animation function for the little ones.

"Since the school was opened more than 20 years ago, this demand that both the director, Toni Catalá, and the teachers had transferred to the different governments had not been met", have recalled the councilors of Culture and Education, Víctor Bisquert and Jorge Pascual, who have celebrated that finally these improvements will allow
improve the work of teachers and students.

    That is not for soundproofing.
They are plates to break the reverb.
So that no echo waves are produced and it is a gibberish of sounds crossing and bouncing everywhere.
One thing has nothing to do with the other.
They have absolutely nothing soundproofed with those plates.
