The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports has published, in the 'Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana' (DOGV), the calendar and the admission and enrollment process for the 2020-2021 academic year of the different language teachings that are taught to the Valencian official language schools (EOI).
For the students enrolled in the EOI during the 2019-2020 academic year, and the students who have passed a certification test or approved test, the application period for admission will be open from July 3 to 14. This has to be done electronically on the web 'telematricula.es'. The applicant can choose a maximum of three languages and up to 50 time combinations with the possibility of selecting several schools.
The procedure is fast and agile. From July 3, people who want to apply for admission must generate the password to carry out the electronic procedure in the 'admission key' window of 'telematricula.es'.
It will ask for the ID number of the applicant, the IDESP support number (code of 9 letters and numbers that are in the ID), the date of birth of the applicant, the acceptance of verification from the Ministry of the Interior and an address of e-mail.
Foreign citizens, who do not have a DNI, have to fill in the same information but with their NIE. In addition to putting the NIE, it is necessary to fill in a box with the IXESP support number (code included in the foreigners cards and residence permits), as well as the date of birth of the applicant and the acceptance of verification from the Ministry of the Interior and an email address.
From here you can complete all the electronic processing from home in the 'admission process' window of the 'telematricula.es' website in the section dedicated to EOI, and applicants can also download an instruction manual to carry out each step.
On July 3 the provisional vacancies will be published, and on July 17 the results of the allocation of vacancies for students will be available online.
Once the order is established, the candidates who have obtained a place have to formalize the registration during the period from July 20 to September 9. Within this period, each EOI will establish, and publish on its website, the specific schedule for formalization and delivery of the documentation required to complete the enrollment.
In addition, on September 10 and 11 the EOI will physically enroll by appointment the students who have been on the waiting list in the adjudication of July 17, according to the order assigned by the telematic assistant. From September 15 to 17, the second period of admission and enrollment corresponding to the extraordinary call for language vacancies and available courses will open.
Free language courses for teachers

The students of the face-to-face courses during the academic year 2019-2020 must make the admission request through the telematic assistant without making the prior request on the OVIDOC platform.
Enrollment for online courses, both for new teachers and for students who have passed the previous course, must be formalized before July 8.
For the fourth consecutive year, the EOI host a part of the Comprehensive Language Learning Plan for teachers to improve their level of English and Valencian, with the aim of progressively guaranteeing teacher language training. Thus, they can receive free language training in English and Valencian, up to level C1. Teachers will also be able to choose online courses of B2 and C1 in English and C1 in Valencian.
All active teaching staff, both career and interim officials, from public centers, and also teaching staff from concerted centers, may choose in these courses.
Level tests
On the other hand, students who demonstrate a sufficient command of a language's competences can join any course or level if they pass a level test. Registration for this test can be done from June 11 to June 16 for the ordinary call, and from September 1 to 6 for the extraordinary call. Each school has to publish the calendar to carry it out, but, in any case, the results must be made public before 22 p.m. on July 10 in ordinary call, and on September 16 in extraordinary call to enroll in the corresponding admission period.
It should be remembered that the EOI offer face-to-face and online curricular courses, intensive courses and complementary formative courses oriented to the work of oral skills, to initiation groups, groups to prepare certification tests or improvement groups
