After six years without exhibiting in his municipality, the painter from Xàbia, Tomás Sivera, go back to Casa del Cable to present the 24 works from his latest collection titled Displacements.
Through the technique Fumage, Sivera is shaping "The experiences of refugees. It is a way of expressing the daily life of these people". A new job that is giving him very good results since he has achieved the Benissa painting prizeTwo second runners-up in the Pego Comxicotetion, prize in Elda y exhibit in the Provincial Council of Alicante.
Sivera is excited about the opportunity to re-present his works in his homeland "and more being my last job. Six years ago I exhibited Temps de Mar and now I come with a totally different collection so that Xàbia knows her and where she can appreciate bright colors with the human figure ".
The exhibition will open this coming Friday, 10 in August, at 20: 30 hours and will be open to the public until September's 9.
