The painter from Xàbia, Tomás Sivera, wins the Vila de Pego National Painting Prize

With the work, Border wall, the artistic painter of Xàbia, Tomás Sivera, wins the prize of the XLIII Vila de Pego National Painting Contest. A single award that goes to the xabiero after having achieved the second prize in the two previous editions with the works: Refugee without shelter (2018) and Looking for the coast (2017)

In this edition, the qualifying jury chaired by Laura Castilla, Councilor for Culture and made up of: Román de la Calle, Art critic, Juan Ramón García Castejón, artist, Paco López, artist, Antonio Barroso, director of the Bienal de las Artes de Valencia "Ciudad Vieja Abierta" and secretary of the Jury Marisol Ceniza, agreed also give honorable mentions to: Daniel García Moragues with the work Black boat and Miguel Borrego with Jedem das s

Tomás Sivera has been very satisfied and happy with this award, "Previous years I have been at the gates of getting the prize and it has been a great surprise to receive this news."

The inauguration of this contest with the works presented will be next June. Congratulations Tomás!
