Jávea Park takes shape: the recreational area is now a reality

May 07 from 2025 - 09: 38

After years of requests and proposals, the Javea Town Hall has taken a definitive step towards the creation of the long-awaited public park in the Arenal BeachThe comprehensive improvement project at Jávea Park achieves the goal of converting this space into a recreational and sports area open to all ages.

Construction is progressing well, and a complete transformation of the area, traditionally plagued by disrepair, vandalism, and a lack of amenities, can be observed. The new area includes recreational, play, sports, and socializing spaces, with a design conceived to revitalize the neighborhood and create a new meeting point for residents.

"From canvas to reality"

Seeing and experiencing the park as a reality has caused great excitement among residents, who expressed their joy on social media with these words: "very soon we will finally have, after so many years of neighborhood demands, the fantastic new Jávea Park."

Likewise, the company responsible for this transformation highlights on its social media how it goes "from canvas to reality," with an image of a children's game, proving that the designs become real.

With this project, Xàbia is fulfilling a long-standing debt to the residents of Arenal. Now, all that remains is to wait for the construction to be completed and for it to open to the public.

    Where exactly is it located?

It's important that teenagers at night stop jumping over fences or breaking them to sneak into the park and drink, because every summer it's always the same.

I imagine they've thought about the common good of all the residents, and the need to spruce up the area, after 11 years of neglect and with politicians incapable of painting a slide, let alone changing it.

Have you thought about the L'ancora neighbors? A racket raging all summer under their houses? Screaming and fighting as usual? Will they be closing at a certain time, or can they play at 3 a.m. as usual? Have you put up a noise barrier? Will there be police when called? They've been making a fuss about that piece of land all their lives.

If they think that with the construction of a park, what would it be used for, whether for children's games or for drinking parties and other things...
A deteriorated area is regenerating… we are in trouble!!
