The Parador de Turismo de Jávea will host the International Open Vila de Xàbia de Ajedrez, which will be played from the 16 to the March 19. This edition confirms the participation of great masters of chess that, surely, will make enjoy the lovers of this game with their moves and next to the beauty of the gardens of the Parador and the charm of the municipality.
In the Open you can participate all those federated Spanish players and players with FIDE flag not Spanish with FIDE code (mandatory) who have registered correctly. The number of participants is 150 players.
The registration period concludes the next March 14 or at the time that the 150 available seats are completed. The game system will be the Swiss to seven rounds. Matching of players will be done through a computer program being the main referee responsible for them. The tournament is valid for ELO, FIDE and FEDA.
This tournament is organized by the Club Escacs Xàbia, with the collaboration of Javea Town Hall, Amjasa, Provincial Council of Alicante and the Chess Federation of the Valencian Community (Tournament valid for the 2019 Adult Champions Cup).
