The auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Valencia, Esteban Escudero, presided over the mass that was celebrated in honor of Our Lady of the Angels, in the monastery located in La Plana Xàbia.
The religious ceremony was also attended by several pastors from different municipalities of the region, among which were, Vicente Gilabert parish of San Bertomeu and Fernando Maño of Our Lady of Loreto.
During the Mass the choir of Xàbia under the direction of Mayor Pepe performed several musical pieces.
In addition, the ecclesiastical authorities were present municipal authorities headed by the mayor, José Chulvi, as well as the Party mayor, Antonio Miragall.
After Mass there was a small procession through the streets adjoining the monastery was followed by a number of parishioners.
