From today until the next 21 in February, the Javea Town Hall The modifications introduced in the Preliminary Version of the General Structural Plan (VP_PGE) after the public participation phase carried out are publicly displayed.
The Councilor for Urban Development, Isabel Bolufer, explained the main changes that the document has suffered as a result of the analysis of the allegations and sectoral reports received. Among them, the planning that the previous proposal proposed for the street Italy and the Camí Soberana, as committed by the affected neighbors the mayor, has been modified, José Chulvi.
Regarding the street Italy, a report of the Diputación (which suggested extending it to the 22 meters) and the technical proposal that raised to 16 meters and make it the main connection between the roads of Jesús Pobre and de Gata has been rejected. In the revised version, Calle Italia reappears as programmed by the 1990 PGOU: with 8 meters of amplitude.
The same happens with the Sovereign Camí. It has been drawn as requested by the neighbors, with the entrance through the current roundabout from the Dénia road. As for the width, it is discarded to convert it into a bidirectional street of 12 meters, with the consequent affectation in private properties. At this point, from the executive clarify that it has been detected that the document does not include the final solution agreed with the neighbors -drawing it from 8 meters- and that work has already begun to solve it.
In this sense, the mayor has guaranteed that the agreement with the residents will be fulfilled and that they will go hand in hand with the neighborhood association to incorporate the change in this new phase of allegations. Thus, a new phase of participation and information opens up.
In fact, the mayor of Urban Planning has convened this afternoon, Thursday, at the 20 hours in the multipurpose room Portal del Clot, a Council of Urbanism and Environment to explain all the changes, an informative appointment that "Is open to any citizen or political representative who wishes to come" has pointed Bolufer. All the political groups of the City Council will also be summoned to explain the details of the proposal.
Floor protection
With the new Structural Plan, some 201.220 square meters have been protected on the slopes of Montgó, and in the Cansalades sector -according to land use planning and land use criteria- or in the Creu Armella, due to the risk of flooding and green connectivity. In areas of Rebaldí and Capsades, according to the approved units, the classification of forest protection has been changed to agricultural, which will allow more compatible uses with the soil. Another modification with respect to the first proposal is that the Villes al Vent and La Maquetona areas are considered urban land as the urbanization works have been received.

The mayor also recalls that those interested in consulting all the urban documentation can go through the House of Culture, the Technical Office or use the online via the municipal website www.ajxabia.org. Likewise, the Councilor, to improve the understanding of this urban planning document, has convened three informative meetings: this Friday, 25 in January, at 20 hours in the Library of Duanes; on Monday 28 in January at 20 hours at the Arenal school and on Tuesday 29 in January, also at 20 hours, at the Polivalente Room at Portal del Clot.
