Citizen collaboration continues to bear good fruit in Xàbia, generating benefits for all. A good example of this is the new Wifi network that the Soler Blasco Museum thanks to the Friends of the Museu de Xàbia Association.
Chris Betterton-Jones, associate of AMUX has been the promoter of this project thanks to the collaboration the Javea Computer Club, that the hand of Andreas Wernli donations have achieved the necessary equipment.
From now the Museum Soler Blasco has two two new connections WiFi protected, one for the museum staff working in the office from their laptops and other receivable in most rooms in the museum, including rooms in the new building, so that teachers and people who attend the meetings can access the Internet if necessary.
Another project that this group of computer enthusiasts want to carry out is the inclusion of Google Mapscon museum plans and photographs so that visitors can plan your route and identify the points that matter most.
It is also working on an audio guide for Smartphones that help visitors to appreciate the exhibits.
