Minister Pedro Duque is interested in the project of the students of Xàbia, 'Join Us'

The students of the María Inmaculada School, Inés, Amelia and Andrea, continue working so that their technological project Join Us (Join us) Go ahead and be of use as corroborated in your passes to the 2018 Technovation Challenge Contest Finals.

To do this, the three students from Xàbia sent, an few days ago, an email to Pedro Duque presenting their project. The response was immediate and the Minister of Science and Innovation held a videoconference with the young women and their teachers, to learn more about this 'Join Us' application, which aims to reduce the “unelected” loneliness of older people and that benefited young people with social sensitivity to travel at low cost.

It should be remembered that this app developed by the three young women reached the 2018 Technovation Challenge World Final, which led them to travel to San Francisco, to present the project, after proclaiming themselves champions of Spain and Europe.

The three students have not stopped to show their project to all the administrations in order to be able to help the older ones in their solitude. And it is that, this app, in addition to making it known to the Javea Town Hall It was also presented to the Vice President of the Generalitat, Mònica Oltra.
