El I Solidarity Christmas Market, promoted by the Catalá Chorro family, has been widely accepted. The event has raised more than a thousand euros during the opening days, which have been delivered to Cáritas Interparroquial of both the Church of Our Lady of Loreto and San Bartolomé.
This first edition, which has had the collaboration of the Xàbia Belenistas, has closed its doors with the donation of 1.262 euros (631 euros for each group). Of this total collected, 1000 euros correspond to the sale of Christmas items and 262 euros from a contribution from the Nativity Scene Association.
The Catalá Chorro family thanks all the people for the collaboration provided with the acquisition of the products of this solidarity initiative, as well as the Caritas volunteers and the institutional support with the dissemination of the Christmas market and their visit on the opening day .
From the organization they point out that in the next ones this first edition will be analyzed and they will work with enthusiasm for the launch of a new solidarity market next Christmas.
