Emotion. That is the word that describes the victory achieved, yesterday, Friday, by the boxer, José 'Pepe' Torres, in Poland. The xabiero competed in an EFM SHOW match against the Georgian, Georgi Esiava, the first at European level, in which he demonstrated his great potential. Torres scored his second professional victory in the 65kg category.
The one from Xàbia gave everything in the octagon against the powerful Esiava, who had three fights under his belt, but could not with the Spanish. Pepe thus begins his path to success in mixed martial arts and obtain a degree.
Without a doubt, the ring of this Polish MMA vibrated with the xabiera victory. The young boxer tells this newsroom that he feels very satisfied with this triumph (video), "I've worked hard and I'm happy with the reward."
And the thing is, Pepe Torres, 25 years old, and after thinking about stopping competing in this discipline due to injury, was encouraged to continue because of his great value. In 2019 he achieved the amateur record and now, as a boxer of the Climent Club of Alicante, after the comxicotetion break due to the pandemic, he begins this 2021 with great force already for the titles.
