The Ojos Rojos de Xàbia Photography Festival starts with its 2020 program and does so with an online conference by photojournalist, humanist and photographer Javier Arcenillas entitled New Documentalism, landscape and borders.

The talk can be followed this Thursday, May 21, from 20:1 p.m., live from YouTube at the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKKh3DcXNUMXxBY and then it will be available to all fans on the Facebook of Xàbia Turisme as part of the online cultural programming offered by the Department of Culture, which sponsors this activity.

Arcenillas is a Spanish photojournalist whose work is mostly documentary, in black and white and with decentrable lenses or with technical cameras. He worked at the COVER agency since 2003 as a training manager, coordinating his Photo School for reporters. He has published in publications such as TIME, Der Spiegel, National Geographic, Le Monde 2, and Miami Herald Magazine. In addition, he has obtained more than 100 international photography awards and numerous scholarships. Among them, the third prize of the prestigious World Press Photo 2018 in the category of Long-term Projects with his work Heartbeat America.
