The residents of Thiviers will be able to see the Reina Sofía park finished after the abandonment of the company in charge of the works. This was announced by the mayor and PSOE candidate, José Chulvi, in the meeting held at the Casa de Andalucía with a large group of residents of the neighbourhood.
These reform works were halted by the shock of the UTE Parque de Jávea and it has been necessary for the Legal Council to agree with the Javea Town Hall (as it did in the case of the auditorium) to resume the procedures that allow it to be finished and provide the neighborhood with this important infrastructure.
José Chulvi presented in Thiviers the balance of a legislature marked by "political stability and confidence. Thanks to these factors, which did not occur 12 years ago when we came to government, today we are leaders in employment, we create more companies than anyone else in the province and we have managed to pay less taxes (referring to the 17% reduction of the IBI and the elimination of the garbage tax)".
Olga Sales, Rafa Bisquert and Pilar González participated in the meeting, who claimed the character of the Thiviers neighborhood "of good people, of hard-working people who strive to carry out their businesses and to improve Xàbia".
Sales, number 11 of the PSOE team, gave special relevance to the social seal of the Chulvi government in this legislature and recalled “that our great investment has been to put people at the center of politics. That is why more than 23 million euros have been allocated in aid to companies and families, employment plans and the provision of the resources it needs Servicios Sociales to attend to the people who need it most, especially the elderly with plans such as Menjar a Casa or Radars”.
