El International Music a l'Estiu Course de Xàbia has already opened the registration period for its XXXIV edition, which will take place from 22 to 28 in July. Those interested in participating can consult all the information on the website of the course (https://musicaalestiu.wordpress.com/).
This intensive training course for musical improvement, which is chosen by dozens of musicians every year from all over the world, has a large cast of professionals in charge of teaching the classes to the students during a week at the Professional Conservatory of Music.
This year, Italian bassoonist Marco Postinghel, professor at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg and soloist with the Munich radio orchestra, joins the faculty. Postinguel will be with the classics of Música a l'Estiu: Vicens Prats (flute), Thomas Indermühle (oboe and artistic director of the course), José Luis Estellés (clarinet) and Will Sanders (horn), which as usual will be supported by the pianists Amedeo Salvato and Eglina Agnese.
Postinghel, during his stay in Xàbia, will offer a recital on July's 24. Further, Music l'Estiu will continue to offer various concerts of teachers and students during the nights of the course, all of them free of charge for the public.
