The artist from Xàbia, David Segarra, exhibits his collection, 'Stolen Hugs', in the living room Recollect, located at calle Andrés Lambert, 2, in the Duanes de la Mar neighborhood. The opening will be on Friday, May 14, at 18 pm.
Segarra has studied Fine Arts in Altea and has been a design professional for several decades, with projects throughout Spain. In the last 10 years he has held exhibitions throughout the peninsula bringing his works, all innovative and using all kinds of materials and textures with which to convey his emotions.
The artist from the Marina Alta has also participated in different international comxicotetions with notable success, such as in Italy and the United States, and has carried out other group shows with artists from the region.
On this occasion, Segarra shows the collection 'Stolen Hugs / Abrazos Robados', where he exhibits his latest pieces and addresses the importance of physical contact between people and hugs as a sign of affection and as emotional therapy.
