A large number of athletes from the Club Atletisme Llebeig de Xàbia have been present in the different tests held this weekend in the municipalities of the Region.
First of all, highlight the third place achieved by the women's team in the VII Duatló d'Alzira by teams in the second division. The girls of Xàbia demonstrated, once again, the intense comxicotetive level they have.
School Championship
On Sunday, the youngest members of the club traveled to Sant Joan to carry out the Cross Country Team School Championship and at the same time qualify for the Spanish Championship. They all had very good races.
Before starting the children's races, the Cross Popular began in which four athletes from Llebeig participated and placed in the Top 10.
Vicente Soldevila was 8th overall, Madelane Powell was 4th female, Mariola Valero was 5th female and Bea Sellés 9th female.
Mitja Marató and 10k Ciutat de Gandia
In the 24 Mitja Marató and 10k Ciutat de Gandia there was also a great representation of xabieros athletes. On the one hand, in the 10-kilometer test, Teresa Caselles Miralles reached the finish line with a time of 57:38 and ranked 34 in her category.
Regarding the Half Marathon; Juan José Vallés did a time of 1:27:26, leaving 50 in the category, Cristian Monzo reached the finish line in 1:37:45, leaving 43 in his category. Jaime Escortell stopped the clock at 1:38:23, finishing the race in 45th position in the category.
For his part, Javi Segarra, did the same time as Jaume, 1:38:23, leaving 70 in his category. Víctor Caserta reached the finish line in 1:53:20, leaving 314 in her category and Rosa María Ramos was 26 in her category with a time of 2:09:52.
Valencia, San Sebastián and Costa Blanca
At Lóleo Eventos, 15k from Valencia Juan Bautista Tachó participated making the race in 1:13:51 and leaving 251 in the category.
In proof of Behobia - San Sebastian, 20km race, participated Antonio Morillo who made a time of 1:35:42 and Francisco Marí who reached the finish line in 1:43:47.
In the great race of the Mediterranean, the Half Marathon Costa Blanca, Mª Isabel Ferrer He entered the finish line being the second in his category with a time of 1:24:39. Also participating in this test were: José Antonio Cecilia (1:31:41), Jorge Ferrándiz (1:31:41), Manuel Álvarez (1:54:53), Clara Juan (1:57:01), Enrique Miralles ( 2:03:34), Miguel Vallés Sendín (2:05:35), Blai Ferrer (2:14:26) and Toni Moragues (2:24:40).
