Last weekend was held the XIII edition of "Minijocs de la Marina Alta", where more than a hundred children competed between 11 and 14 years.
Swimmers of more than 15 populations of the Marina Alta were thrown into the pool in a few days where the children showed the good way that the region is following, demonstrating the mastery of the different swimming styles. Individual tests were swum with different distances of the crawl, back, breaststroke and butterfly styles.
Podium for the whole team
The day was a great success for the entire team of swimmers from Centro Deportivo Dénia, since all climbed to the podium and none of them was left without a medal, which makes note the regularity and good practices of Aqualia's team of swimmers.
In addition, there was also a relay event where the relay team of the Dénia Sports Center achieved the best time, finishing first in their category. Carlos Balaguer, the person in charge of the team comments that "this test must be noted that they also managed to do it in a shorter time than any other team, including men, which shows once again that our team is going the best way".
According to the center's director, Susana Campos, "it is a luxury to be able to carry out this type of comxicotetion that helps us promote sport at a young age, but we must point out the enormous organizational work involved and that is not visible in the face of the population. If it were not for the volunteers that support us in a disinterested way, this type of comxicotetions could not be carried out since it would suppose an enormous economic cost ".
Great bet on swimming

That is why it encourages the approach and participation in water activities among all groups of populations, regardless of age, physical level to contribute their bit to increase the welfare of the population of Dénia and its region.
