The School of Nautical Sports of the Club Náutico Jávea has received a visit this Monday from the FC Barsa Sumy football team made up of young Ukrainians from the city of Sumy, one of the closest to the border with Russia.
The young people and their coaches, together with the School monitors, have been able to enjoy trips to the sea with kayaks, the Mediterranean falutxo and sailing. Everyone has enjoyed a great experience and the good conditions that the sea presents in recent days.
In addition, at the end of the sports session, the members of this team as well as the Association Culture Against Bullets of the Ukrainian citizen residing in Xàbia, Natalia Moskalenko, and the team of monitors have been able to enjoy a paella in the facilities of the Sailing School.
The Jávea Yacht Club has thus joined the wave of solidarity of the associations and groups of Xàbia that have turned to these young people who have left their country to forget for a few days about the war and the suffering it causes in all citizens ukrainians.
