La Penya La Marina celebrated, this past week, its 58 anniversary with an assembly and dinner at the restaurant Poster of the port of Jávea, which was attended by some 100 affiliates, the president, José Buigues and Councilman sports, Alberto Tur.
Buigues, in his speech, made a reminder of the deceased partners and made a sports balance of last season, in which he highlighted the pre-Benjamin A team, for being the champion of the ACYDMA cup. At present, the rock has 150 boys and girls of ages ranging from 4 to 12 years.
The president of La Penya asked the councilor for sports, "Work and political will to carry out all the necessary improvements in the field of Les Mesquides". At this request, Tur said they have already begun to develop a new project for the football field, "in which the space is going to be optimized; the lighting towers will be moved closer to the pitch and the changing rooms and other rooms will be completely changed".
The mayor added that they will also move the municipal tracks of Padel, currently located behind the Palau Miguel Buigues Andrés, to the site of the field of Les Mesquides.
