The Department of Sports and Education Javea Town Hall The XÀBIA ESPORTS EDUCA program is proposed jointly and in coordination with the representatives of the base sport, educational centers, teachers, clubs and sports entities of the municipality.
The initiative, aimed at children in primary and secondary schools in the public centers of the municipality, brings sports to school and at a time compatible with the continuous day as an extracurricular.
According to the Sports Councilor, Alberto Tur, this program is organized in two different lines by age. The first, called "Move" is designed for the youngest (between 3 and 5 years old) and will work on the basic motor and social aspects; the second "Discover the sport" is focused on the entire primary cycle and will cover different sports modalities at the initiation level as well as their basic aspects and values.
The program will start on October 1 until May 29 on 2020 and will take place during school hours (from 15.45 to 17.00 hours). To register or expand information (activity days and prices) you must go to the school where you study or email info.esports@ajxabia.org
The councilor stressed that with this activity you want to value sport as an educational medium. Tur has taken advantage to advance that, in this same line, have been arranged with the Hospital of San Carlos de Dénia, Grupo HLA SL a conference of educational talks on nutritional education for children participating in the program.
