The Dénia Health Department has launched a psychological care program online aimed at all its professionals, admitted patients and relatives of patients admitted by COVID-19.
It is an initiative of cuidArt, in coordination with the Psychiatry Service of the Department of Health of Dénia that offers emotional and psychological attention by telephone or video call in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.
The program 'Estem amb tu' It is materialized in four projects depending on the needs and characteristics of each situation: individual sessions of psycho-creative therapy, music therapy sessions, psychological or psychiatric assistance and assistance to the elderly.
The Dénia Health Department, through the daily calls made to family members, will detect psychological and emotional needs and, if they exist, will launch the support program.
The objective is to psychologically support professionals who work on the front line and are exposed every day to a situation of uncertainty and anxiety generated by the pandemic, as well as to hospitalized patients who are isolated and relatives of hospitalized patients who cannot accompany your loved ones in the hospitalization process.
In addition, this service joins the #NoMayorSolo initiative, which DKV has launched to emotionally and psychologically care for older people who, due to this crisis, have been left alone or isolated from their families and, in many cases, in a situation of lack of communication and vulnerability.
