The Department of Health of Dénia speeds up the plan to guarantee the health care of Ukrainian refugees

11 March 2022 - 14: 20

The Department of Health of Dénia has launched a Special Plan to guarantee access to public health care in the Marina Alta for displaced people from Ukraine. All this, complying with the guidelines of the Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health.

By virtue of these guidelines, these people may process the accreditation to receive health coverage at a health center in the Marina Alta or by mail: counter.virtual@marinasalud.es. To do this, the user must present an identification document and, if registered, the census certificate.

From the accreditation department of the DSD, work is being done to facilitate and speed up the procedures to register them in the Population Information System (SIP) and that they may have a provisional card.

For this reason, the documents and the website of the DSD have been translated into Ukrainian and, in addition, requests made through the Virtual Desk will be answered in Ukrainian. The document in question necessary for information is available at this link.

A care protocol has also been established for children under 14 years of age, who will be automatically given, together with the provisional SIP, an appointment to have a pediatric check-up.

Hosted refugees will be able to receive universal health coverage. The allocation of the health center will be the one that corresponds according to the health map, taking into account the host population.
